Classic

Keeps every pixel: the texture just gets empty space around it, so the game draws it smaller.

How to install your custom totem

Bedrock (Windows, mobile, consoles)

  1. Open the .mcpack file. Minecraft starts and imports it on its own.
  2. Go to Settings › Global Resources and activate the pack.
  3. For the all-styles pack, tap the gear icon on the pack to choose the style.

Java Edition

  1. Open Options › Resource Packs › Open Pack Folder.
  2. Drop the .zip in that folder without unzipping it.
  3. Move the pack to the Selected column and click Done.

Your skin as a Totem of Undying

The Totem of Undying is the item that saves you from dying, and the one players most like to customize: it pops up full screen every time it activates. This generator reads your skin (by Java username, Bedrock gamertag or PNG upload) and redraws it as a 16 × 16 totem texture, right in your browser.

Four styles, one click

Classic keeps the shape of the vanilla totem, with the arms spread like wings. Square uses the full width of the texture, and Mini Me gives you a big head on a small body. 3D Model swaps the flat item for a real 3D figure of your player, with the second skin layer, that you hold in your hand.

Bedrock .mcpack and Java resource pack

Bedrock packs import with a double click, and the all-styles pack puts every style in one .mcpack as subpacks you can switch in game. Java packs are a .zip for the resource pack folder, marked compatible from 1.20.2 onward so the game doesn’t flag them as outdated. The 3D totem on Java is a vanilla item model: no OptiFine or mods.

Frequently asked questions

Type your Java username or Bedrock gamertag (or upload your skin PNG), pick a style and download the pack for your edition. Activate it in the game like any other resource pack and every totem will show your skin.

Yes. Choose Bedrock to get a .mcpack that imports with a double click on Windows, mobile and consoles, or Java to get a .zip for the resource pack folder.

No. A resource pack only changes what you see. Other players see the vanilla totem unless they install the same pack, or the server sends it as its resource pack.

It makes the totem half as big in game. The drawing isn’t shrunk: the texture gets twice the canvas with the figure in the middle, so every pixel of your skin is still there.

Bedrock doesn’t publish skins. The only public copy is the one GeyserMC saves when a player joins a Java server that runs Geyser. If yours hasn’t been seen yet, export your skin and upload the PNG.

Yes. The Bedrock 3D pack replaces the same totem file Actions & Stuff uses, so put this pack above it in your active packs and your figure wins.
